Led Zeppelin
Favorite album:
Led Zeppelin IV
Led Zeppelin may have shaped my early blues rock dimentia! I became interested around LZ II, then bought LZ III. I was hooked! I went back and bought LZ I, then LZ IV, LZ V (Houses Of The Holy), upon their release dates! Probably my FAVORITE band of all of them!
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Favorite album:
(Hard To Pick Just One)
Where do I start? Susie Q, Who'll Stop The Rain, The Midnight Special, Mustang Sally, Proud Mary, Green River, Lodi, Bad Moon Rising, ETC... This band had my number, and play to my very soul!
Alice Cooper
Favorite album:
Schools Out
Great Rock & Roll, Alice delivered a great blend of awsome rock. Other albums I owned were Killer, Love It To Death, and Billion Dollar Babies.
The Beatles
Favorite album:
Abbey Road
For me, Abbey Road was the most memorable album. This band is one of the few, that (in my opinion) NEVER put out a bad album! That's pretty good! I owend almost ALL of them.
Black Sabbath
Favorite album:
Paranoid
I like a lot of these tracks, and a couple of their other albums, Master Of Reality, Sabath Bloody Sabath. Sad to see Ozzy these days, drugs really took their toll.
Grand Funk Railroad
Favorite album:
Closer To Home
Great Rock & Roll! I must have worn out the record. Again, they did several albums that were GREAT!
Eagles
Favorite album:
Hotel California
Their style of music cause me to switch from HARD Rock, to other forms of music.
Deep Purple
Favorite album:
Machine Head
Awsome album, real metal, great performers! Smoke On The Water, Highway Star, Highway Star... Man, this was Rock at it's best!
Eric Clapton
Favorite album:
The Cream Of Clapton
This Man has really accomplished a lot in his journey to the top. Mr. Clapton first introduced me to the calmer side of Rock. And his album "Riding With The King" sent me down a whole new path.
Cream
Favorite album:
Wheels Of Fire
Little did I know, that Eric Clapton would become the ICON he has... Hell of a guitarist!
Frank Zappa
Favorite album:
Overnight Sensation
Yeah, they were off the wall, but they fit in well in my teenage years. Billy The Mountain, Dirty Love, Slime, all were written to tell some odd tale or two.
Frijid Pink
Favorite album:
Frijid Pink - House Of The Rising Sun
I know the Animals did House Of The Rising Sun, but when Frijid Pink did it (1970), they gave it such feeling! - Tred
